My daugther Marula is currently taking Russian lessons with Maria Ivanova and we are very satisfied with the structured way she plans and organizes them.As a member of the German Embassy, I move around quite a lot, and when we left Tashkent about a yeara ago, I was afraid my daughter would lose some of the Russian skills she had acquired there. However, Maria Ivanova’s lessons make it impossible for this to happen. She is a very responsible and engaged teacher,who finds the right balance between work and fun to make her lessons effective as well as enjoyable. Although she had a limited understanding of Russian and was able to read in the language, she had received no formal tuition in the subject. We were fortunate enough to find Mary who, literally in the space of a few weeks, managed to sufficiently prepare her to reach an A* grade.
